About Lombard Swim Club

Located at 2040 Lombard St, Philadelphia, PA 19146, Lombard Swim Club operates as a swim serving Philadelphia in Pennsylvania. This page gathers the practical details people usually look for before visiting: where it is, how to reach it, when it opens and how customers rate it.

Tennis in the United States is played on three kinds of places: public park courts run by a city or county, member clubs and country clubs with their own pros and leagues, and commercial tennis centers that sell court time by the hour. Public courts are usually free and first come, first served, with a posted limit (often 60-90 minutes when others are waiting); busier cities run online reservation systems with a small fee and a permit for the season. Indoor courts are rented by the hour and booked days ahead in winter. Most facilities are hard courts; clay is common in the Southeast and at private clubs, and grass is rare. Lights extend play into the evening at many parks, sometimes with a coin or app-operated switch.

The business lists hours on 7 days of the week. Typical hours are 7 am–9 pm. As with most places, expect changes around holidays; the phone number below is the fastest way to confirm. Philadelphia is in Pennsylvania, in the Northeast, where four distinct seasons shape local life: hot humid summers, snowy winters that can close businesses for a day, and a dense pattern of towns where walking, transit and street parking all matter. Traffic in Philadelphia peaks on weekday mornings and afternoons, so allow extra time then. Addresses read from the street number up to the city, state abbreviation and five-digit ZIP code; the map link on this page shows the exact spot.

Friendly lifeguards and staff. Fun kids programs. Great spot to cool down in the summer. Long waitlist but it’s worth it.

Don’t eat there! I unfortunately contracted food poisoning from the club (attached is one example of undercooked chicken that was served to me). Recently, on 7/16 a health inspection was done due to the gross misconduct of the kitchen…they failed for storing food at dangerously high temperatures and having an unsanitary kitchen/food preparation area. Unfortunately, I was never given any apologies or amendments.

$300 administrative fee just for the heck of it. Great consumer friendly business model.

Great place to send the day. Make sure you stay to enjoy the complimentary beverages upstairs late in the afternoon.

We are lucky to be members here. Not fancy but truly an oasis in Center City. Although there are lots of rules it is always clean and the staff is very friendly.
